Pass Bot

What is Pass Bot?

PassBot is an automated trading strategy designed specifically for passing prop firm evaluations on NQ (Nasdaq futures). It combines momentum-based reversal signals across multiple timeframes with prop-optimized filters to maximize win rate and build consistent win streaks.

Core Concept

The strategy operates on a simple principle: catch momentum reversals at extreme levels, but only during statistically favorable trading hours. By scanning five timeframes simultaneously and applying strict time-based filters, it aims to take only the highest-probability setups that prop firm rules reward.

How It Works

1. Multi-Timeframe Signal Detection

PassBot monitors momentum across five timeframes simultaneously: 1-minute, 3-minute, 5-minute, 7-minute, and 10-minute. Each timeframe has its own momentum oscillator looking for reversal conditions at overbought and oversold extremes.

When momentum reaches an extreme zone and then reverses direction, the strategy generates a signal. Signals from faster timeframes (1m, 3m) fire more frequently; slower timeframes (7m, 10m) produce fewer but often more reliable setups.

2. Prop Firm Hour Filter

This is where PassBot differentiates itself. Through extensive backtesting, specific hours have been identified where win rates are significantly higher. The strategy restricts trading to only these favorable windows, sitting out during statistically unfavorable periods.

3. Turbo Trend Filter (Optional)

An additional layer of trend confirmation can be enabled using a multi-timeframe trend indicator. When active, this filter prevents long entries during confirmed bearish conditions and short entries during confirmed bullish conditions - essentially keeping you from fighting the larger trend.

4. Cooldown System

To protect against choppy, losing conditions, PassBot includes a cooldown mechanism. After consecutive losses during high-volatility periods, the strategy pauses trading temporarily. This prevents the classic "revenge trading" spiral that can blow evaluations.

The cooldown considers both the number of recent losses and current market volatility before re-enabling entries.

5. Daily Close Protection

All positions are automatically closed before the end of the trading day. This prevents overnight exposure and aligns with most prop firm rules about holding positions through market close.

Risk Management

Each timeframe uses fixed take profit and stop loss levels optimized through backtesting. The risk/reward is structured to support the high win rate the strategy targets - smaller wins captured frequently, with wider stops to avoid premature exits on normal market noise.

Designed For

PassBot is built specifically for traders looking to pass prop firm evaluations efficiently. The focus on win rate and win streaks over raw profit factor reflects what actually matters for evaluation rules - consistent, steady gains rather than volatile swings.
